Cosmetic surgery is now widely accepted in mainstream society and many people seeking cosmetic surgery as a solution to their perceived physical flaws every year. There has been an increasing trend for cosmetic surgery, which was once though to be largely aimed at women, to be sought after by men. More and more men are opting to undergo plastic surgery which can be seen as a result of the increasing pressure modern society places on men to look their best. There are now numerous cosmetic surgery clinics and doctors who specialise in treating men. It is certainly true that there is an increase in the number of men undergoing cosmetic surgery procedures, although they still make up the minority of patients as many more cosmetic surgery patients are women, although there is undeniably a sharp increase in the number of male patients.
